But I prefer the auto shifting up and down with the shift knob. I think all the mazda autos have it and basically all the car companies are starting to have them except toyota of coarse. I've driven an auto and manual celica, and the manual is a hell of a lot more responsive.I kinda' wish I had manual after driving one.

Both dyno at 250ish-hp and are both at the same psi, with stock internals. seeing as they're both even, the Manual would still be a few seconds quicker because of the gear ratio of the tranny. feel free to correct me. I've mastered the art of the After Image Technique.

That doesn't sound right. The auto will have way more losses to the wheels, so how can both cars setup the same put down 250ish-hp? Unless they were measuring at the crank only.
