So this weird thing happens when I go to floor my Celica. It seems like it gets max acceleration when the pedal isn’t all the way to the floor. There’s this kind of sweet spot right before I floor it all the way and then when I get the pedal completely to the floor it kind of lulls and the acceleration goes down. Any idea what this could be? I have a 01 Gt.
Regardless, that is likely just the power band of the 1ZZ. It's not supposed to have it's power up top. It's down low in the RPMs for fuel efficiency. Chances are you're just falling out of power by the time you've floored it.

It’s a manual and it’s not about the power band. It performs fine for where I want it to be but the “floored†position of the pedal is a little off the ground and when you push the pedal past that, it gets let’s gas or something
