I recently purchased a 2000 Celica GTS. No rust, 189,000 miles, and, according to carfax, 6 previous owners. It was sitting in a garage for the last 2 years, but it was well kept and starts right up. The engine seems to run great.
I have a few things that I want to do right away.
Fuel filter
Oil change (5w30 mobil 1?)
Oil filter
New gear oil
Coolant flush
Timing chain
Are there any essential items missing from this list? I don't have the full maintenance history. I do know it has a new clutch and new exhaust. Should I be replacing the spark plugs and injectors? Am I better off sticking with OEM Parts or are there aftermarket parts you would recommend. Any advice is appreciated. I know I purchased a bit of a ricer. And there will be a bit of clean up and work to get the car to a point where I want it to be.
