So just recently my 2003 celica gt with auto has been acting up in 1st. 2nd and drive are fine but when I put it in low/1st it'll crawl and shoot up rpms for some reason and I've used it before when it was fine going up to 41 and shifting to 2nd and then drive

How many miles since you last changed xmission fluid?

Looks like dirty fluid is blocking a few lines and prevents shift into1st gear.

1. Try Motor Medic's Transmedic (about $5 Walmart) to clean and lubricate. Follow directions on label. If that does not completely solve the problem then do a flush with

2. Motor Medic's Transmission Flush ($7 Walmart). Follow directions on label. Drive then change fluid twice.

3. If that does not solve the problem you may need a complete transmission flush, including flushing out fluid in the torque converter. Most shops can do it for $50-100.

You can also do it your self. Research on line.
