Just got an aftermarket exhaust and went under the car to install it. Turns out my stock exhaust doesn't have the bolt on option. Thought it was weird cause from every exhaust install I've seen or heard about it's just been a bolt on. I'm just curious if anyone knows which models or options my car would need to have come from the factory with for it to have a fully welded exhaust. The aftermarket hooks doesn't even seem like it goes on the factory mounts. Super weird. What would my best option be? Just have a shop weld on the new exhaust? Or buy the exhaust with the cat so I can replace the whole system?

Fully welded on is probably something done by a 3rd party shop. All 6th gen Celica come stock from the factory with bolt-on exhaust.

The exhaust system is a full cat-back exhaust. meaning that it includes the muffler-canister and the exhaust pipe + tip.

TRD exhaust with both pieces separated, but connecting with bolts.
The entire system bolts on to your header exhaust piping, and the rest uses rubber exhaust hangers.
