Hi, just wanna know if anyone already know a local material distributor that sells "Aluminum Diamond Plate Sheet Metal" so i can cut out floor mat alumium inserts.. i have all the tools... so instead of spending 150 on premade one.. i can make em for just the cost of the material.. anyone know if homedepot or sometother local places has em?

It really depends on where you are at to find out if it's local or not. What I done is I went down to a local welding place here in my home town and tell them that you want the diamond plated aluminum. May cost a little bit more than the steel but it's a hell of a lot easier to use. I put them on my pedals. I had the factory rubber covers but yea that's what I would do just check into your local welding place or industrial rental place if there happens to be one nearby I'd bet they would be more than happy to sell you some.

where do you live?? I have a local spot only five miles from home, and they have a cash and carry with some stock that has dented corners and such you can save a TON of money if only the corner is bent. By the way, al. diamond plate is pretty expensive, I think it comes in 4'x8' sheets, and around $100 per sheet(eighth inch thick). Maybe we can go in halfs for a sheet.
