Where are you from? I live in Canada, and in my '02 GT I hit 125 MPH (200 KPH) with still room to go (I had to slow down because of a curve ahead). So I don't understand why your car wouldn't pass 120 MPH.
I'm from Quebec, Canada like Tzvetan and my 2002 manual Celica GT get 215kph (134mph).
It need a very long straight to get this speed thought.. i never calculated the time i takes me to get that's speed. I'll come back with this tomorrow.
I'll test it on the Highway tonight with my radar detector for sure...
(take note that i got this speed with the cheap stock tire that came with the car, so it's not a Tire/Rims bad ratio
I did 137MPH on those wonderfull Canadian Highways, too many F%$^king cops in the US.
This was on that brand new highway they got runnin g north of Toronto. It is suppoce to be a toll road but that is only if you live in Canada. They dont charge if you are from the US
+ Canadian cops are not allowed to really chase you.

Ya baby...
its called the 407 etr (express toll route). just becareful because the opp (ontario provincial police) hide on the on ramps and clock you. you can't see them if you are going straight on the highway.
i live in hawaii. and it's hard to really max out the car. but, according to my friend, we were going bout 150mph and he was right next to me. so maxing out at 120 sounds kinda messed up.
my 00 gts 6pd hit 148, and hit lift in 6th, but i will stay in lift then the car will start to drag or something and pull the car down to 145. wierd if you ask me, your car should go faster than 120!!!
