Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior my rims opinion thread

I pretty sure Im doing a blue/black theme. I was pretty sure I was getting gunmetal rims but to stick with the theme I guess Ill go with black...I dont really like polished lips but I was thinking about getting some with it then powdercoating the lip a blue to match the car...I think it would look really cool. Your opinions/suggestions? and would anyone know how much just powdercoating the lip would cost?

I would go gunmetal with a polished lip. But since that is not your style, I dunno. I can't imagine a blue lip, so I would have to say no. Just my opinion though.

I also went for a blue/black theme and I think it looks good. So far I just have a black center hood overlay and black OEM hoodscoop. I went with black opal verdicts, they are not really dark but very shining. Gunmetal would look very nice, just wanted to let you see some lighter wheel on that theme.

if you did the dish of the rim the same as the car, i think it would be shibby
