Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Rim question- offset,tire size

hey guys i'm about to purchase some rims and need a bit of help. what is the maximum width our cars can have? cause i was thinking to get some 15x8 with 225 falkens. Also if i got 15x7 rims with 225 tires would that be bad since the tire would not be sitting with square shoulders? My stock rims sit abit too much inside so they're are not even with my frnders and it looks as though they are not wide enough what offset would you recommend to cerrect this if i hade 15x7 rims. here a pic of what i'm talking about.

i got a question thats a TRD skirt right? whats that front lip??

a 7.5 width and a 30mm offset and 215 tire will sit flush to the fender... if you want an 8 width I would go with a 35mm offset and a 225 tire wil sit flush

yea its either a Trd skirt or wingwest. The lip is wingwest
