So I'm at work today, and one of the guys says "Hey, someone parked on the 5th floor has a serious leak going on." So a group of us fifth floor people went out to the parking garage... Figures... the leak was under MY car. One guy sticks his finger in the puddle and sniffs ... "That's heavy weight oil... possibly transmission fluid." Wonderful. It was leaking at a VISIBLE rate... drip... drip... drip...

So I immediately took off for the dealership. Now, I had the transmission replaced in this car about 9 months ago because it locked up on the freeway when I was going about 70. Not plesant. So after waiting about 2 hours, the guy comes back and tells me that the front seal is busted. But the GOOD news is that since they replaced the transmission less than a year ago, the whole thing is under warrenty! WOOT!!! The he points out that if they can't fix the seal, they'll just replace the transmission... AGAIN! More good news is that he said no matter what he has to do... it will be done by Monday. I love Toyota of Plano.

Don't know... you know how those dealer guys are; they don't give you much detail. But apparently it was something important. There's a "front" and a "rear" seal... whatever seals they are talking about.
