2002 Celica GTS -
Having issues with high idle. I took off the throttle body to clean with carb cleaner. I accidentally dropped something into the manifold so I took a look inside so i can pull it out. I noticed that the Intake was full of water and some oil! This can't be right, can it? After assembly the throttle body back on, I never clamped one of the cooling hoses that connects to the Throttle Body so as i was driving around she started to over heat. After making it home I seen the coolant was leaking from the un-clamped hose. Next day, Took the TB back off, re connected the clamp and took another look inside and the water/oil was significantly lower after the car over heated.. I understand that the oil could be because of a gasket but why in the world is there water in there to? I can not find ANYTHING on the web. Would you guys please help me? Thank You!
I attached an image of the inside before the car over heated. (Yes, I got the piece out that I had dropped)
